This sweet little girl came into care today….
We were sent a message from a concerned member of the community who was visiting King George V park in Sheffield and noticed her wandering around on the ground.
It’s unusual to see brushtail possums out and about during the day and we had some concerns for her health and wellbeing. We were out of town so our lovely friend Wyn came to the rescue and contained her for us.
Thanks Wyn
Little miss is now at home with us, and we will monitor her overnight and give her a good feed. We will also take her to see the team at Tasmania Wildlife Hospital tomorrow for a check up, and hopefully release her back to the wild.
We have named her Rose
