Four Little Munchkins

Another 4 little munchkins rescued this week…

As with most orphaned joeys, these four lost their mums to car strikes over the past week. Sadly, this is a common theme for many carers and rescuers, as wildlife are increasingly at risk. The impact of car strikes is significant, with many young joeys left orphaned, vulnerable, and in need of urgent care.

A special thanks must go to the wonderful crafters at the Animal Rescue Cooperative Craft Guild for the handmade pouches. These beautiful creations provide the warmth and comfort that the joeys would normally get from their Mum, helping them feel safe and secure.

Remember, If you see injured or orphaned wildlife in Tasmania, call Bonorong on 0447 264 625 any time of the day or night.
